Apricot Festival art show winning piece

 

I am proud to announce that one of my entries won first prize with the most votes at the Apricot Festival art show at the Miyazaki house this past weekend!

Description:

Locally grown gourd (a gourd is an ornamental squash that dries hard), hand drawn pyrography and acrylic design, highlighted with a woven top made with locally harvested Ponderosa pine needles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The stand is hand made from pure copper.
