My pre hike preparation starts with my super energy boost morning shake!
The healthy ingredients I choose to add to my morning shake helps to sustain energy levels for a good 2 hour snow hike without crashing or hunger pains!
Ingredient list may vary pending what I’ve got in the freezer from summer harvest.
This winter I am down to frozen cherries, so added dried saskatoon & raspberries.
1/2 c frozen cheries
2 T dried saskatoon berries
2 T dried raspberries
1.5 c kombucha tea
1 T bee pollen
1 tsp spirulina
1 tsp maca
1T unpasteurized honey
1/4c – 1/2 c plain unsweetened yoghurt
