Berry sorbet

It’s finally summer and what could be better than a frozen berry treat?

We have had a bumper crop of berries this year! I have been harvesting saskatoon berries, raspberries and sour cherries.

Healthy with no sugar added!

Home made berry sorbet

Ingredients:

3 almond milk ice cubes (plain & unsweetened)
3 green tea kombucha ice cubes
1/4c frozen saskatoon berries
1/4c frozen raspberries
1/2c frozen, pitted sour cherries

 

Blend until smooth (I use a vitamix blender tamper)

Serves 2

 

Berries can easily be substituted with any frozen fruit of your choice!

Variations:

  • blueberries
  • sliced peaches
  • sliced banana
  • mango
  • pineapple
  • strawberries
