4 c raw whole almond – ground
1 c shredded unsweetened coconut
½ c flaked raw pumpkin seed
½ c raw flaked sunflower seed
½ c flaked whole hemp seed or hemp hearts
*Toast above ingredients 350 f until golden (15 mins), stir for an even roast
Mix flaked grains with roasted almond mixture-
3 c flaked grains-blend of oats, spelt, rye
2 c flaked buckwheat
Combine all of the above with:
½ c dried cranberries or finely chopped dried apricots
¾ c chocolate chips-optional
1 T finely chopped orange rind
Bring to boil in saucepan:
1 ¼ c natural honey
¼ c coconut sugar
½ tsp Himalayan salt
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
When boiled, remove from heat and add vanilla.
Stir honey mixture into dry ingredients in large pot or mixing bowl.
Press batter onto greased cookie sheet.
